We are an organization that promotes
exchange and business collaboration between Okinawa and India.
The Okinawa-India Friendship Association (OIFA) was established in 2002 to promote friendship and goodwill between Okinawa and India and to foster close communication and cooperation in fields such as culture, education, and the economy.
We will continue our efforts to help promote friendship between Okinawa and India-playing an important role in helping the people of Okinawa gain a broader and deeper understanding of India and in building ties of exchange between Okinawa and India-while also supporting Okinawa's development as an Asia-Pacific hub for tourism and IT.
Partnerships
The Okinawa-India Friendship Association has signed memoranda of understanding (MOUs) with various overseas institutions for the purpose of advancing international exchange, tourism, and culture.
